Why does Mclaren need 9 photo tripods?

Evening. I reckon I have about 5 mins
until whatever Fera is watching on Youtube ends and she rips the
power lead from my computer thus signaling bedtime. So I'll be
brief. Well since I last wrote I have succesfully passed my
motorbike test - full
test - big bikes and all. 2 minor faults. BOO YAAAA! If only
there were a couple more zeros at the end of my bank statement,
that shiny Ducati would be mine.
Last week was pretty much cloud nine. Wednesday I went to Maidstone with Adrian Green to work on a fashion shoot for First magazine. The location was a proper junkyard of a house. Way out in the country, big fields but all full of rubbish. Broken lawnmowers (about 5), bicycles, weight lifting equipment, a tree house, 4 sheds, an old ford pickup, a red-oxide hot rod, bed frames, sofas, a mini-moto, lots of dogs, two horses, a gypsy caravan and trailer.... and on and on and on. But the absolute big highlight was being picked up in the morning by taxi. From my door. First time ever I had heard the words "we've ordered you a car" just for me. A-ma-zing. I've arrived. hahahaha
Thursday was off to Manchester to see Lauren and Dave. Oh and Jose Gonzales. Who was very good. A little too good in fact - the sound was so superb it was like listening to his cd, very loud. He got more into it as the set built up and finished with Crosses. Very nice. Friday was Feras 2 years anniversary present to me - tickets to see Mark Ronson at Shepherds Bush. Amazing again. Lots of people on stage including a zillion hip hoppers who ran on and off, Daniel Merriweather and Estelle. Top show, one row back from the front. Thanks Pugh - you rock.
Metro ski and snowboard show this weekend. I won a comp! Best retro shot - the one of Pete with the Meribel lady in THE suit. Pretty chuffed. Got some groovy shots of the riders and unwittingly spoke to my contact at Document about pocket wizard channels without even knowing. Hello James. That was about that. Stu missed out on the freebies at the fashion show and we both missed out on the "Ibiza Angels"... Bit blue for a ski show I tell thee.
Today was super exciting - got up this morning thinking I'd be spending the day pimping my ski show shots around and ended up at Mclaren with Lewis Hamilton. No really. Thanks to Paul Rider for the invite and thanks to the Children in Need cameraman for the coffee and biscuits. It is the most ridiculous place. (Lewis was nice but I didn't really chat so can't tell you much except that he has a firm handshake and a good posture) The 'factory' is so clean you could honestly eat your tea off the floors. Big glass windows so you can see the cars being worked on / built. Tons of trophies. Old F1s, the mclaren F1, some art and a huge lake. I only saw all this because I got so lost on the way to the loo mind.
That's about it. Youtube is still going and I will be the one to pull the plug this time! Happy Halloween for Wednesday.

Hello. In on the mac on a friday
evening. Rock isn't dead. Actually I have my first motorbike lesson
in't morning. I passed my theory two weeks ago - top marks thank
you. Just need to convince Baybutt sr he needs a new
GS1200...
Work has been fun. Met Patrick Kielty - he likes his hip hop believe it or not. Funny guy.
Not much to say 'cept went to Portugal with the lady and caught some rad waves! 3 to be precise. Got very brown, took loads of photos and generally had an amazing amazing time. And ate lots of fish - probably caught in Cleethorpes.
Right. Since I'm lacking in word power tonight I'll leave you be. Have a great weekend and speak soon.
All the best.

PS: If you have 5 mins head over to Sway's myspace. New LP on't way - sounds good.
PPS: Also if you need a new bicycle head to On-One. They are very good people.
