dolcelatte + a night shred

Hello. I love snowboarding.

How's it going? Another busy week. Worked on a saturday and missed out on a session at Milton Keynes. But the payoff was getting to meet Ridley Scott. Wowzers. Went to his Soho office and saw the original space suit from Alien. It's smaller than you'd think as there were budget issues so he built the whole set smaller and got his two boys to pretend to be John Hurt that summer. That'll win you a pub quiz one day.
Chucked some hi fi gear around with Adrian Lyon on mon/tue. 5 grand speakers. You'd hope they sound good at that price.
I caught man-flu off Fera (it developed into the killer man flu. Pugh only had lady-flu which we all know is less deadly) Stu and I caught the Revolutionz snowboard shop video premier night and therefore had an excuse to drink the cold out of me. All good. The films were great. Tadashi Fuse is the luckiest guy alive after popping up out of an avalanche about 10 seconds after going under. The whole cinema cheered. Triple backflips over-rotated? Bizarro. Abi popped along to the after-party at the Admiral Hardy but missed out on the free tequila.
SO, after psyching ourselves up so much, Stu and I finally managed to get up to MK on Friday night. Haven't been on a board since April so was super excited. Bit busy / expensive but first time in a fridge for about 10 years. met up with Ian 5-0 who coincidentally was with me the first and only time I rode on fake snow in the UK. Had so much fun. Was told to put helmets on (we were the only 2) so found a really ropey kids skiing helmet on the hire shelf. Superstar. Was brill just cruising round and finding little bits and bobs to hit. The snow was really weird and changed massively with every run so it was always a surprise what happened. Loved it.
That's about that. Forgot to mention (name drop ahoy) that I went to Liverpool with Mark Harrison the other week to assist on a shoot with Ken Dodd and Pete Postlethwaite! Ken can't ever turn it off - he's non stop Ken Dodd. If you happened to get a copy of the Times newspaper today it's in the colour supplement.
Anyway - enough rambling. rah rah rah. More photos soon. I promise.

Speak soon. All the Best.
