Pro-cras-tin-hating

There is a pile of bills and to-dos sitting downstairs so i thought I'd update my news and listen to a big Hip Hop mix instead. Productive. did you notice that - 'downstairs' - we're in a house with stairs. Amazing. It's so cool but we've been more than busy so no housewarming yet - and we've been in a month almost!

Legit busy though, my old man (who's not that old!) had a heart bypass on Thursday. Thanks a ton to all the well wishers, he's doing very well and fingers crossed should be out of hospital today - less than a week after he went in. He's about 15 years younger than everyone else in there, doesn't drink or smoke and exercises so he's on a mission to escape quick. Scary stuff but everyone at the Chesterman wing is amazing and reassuring. Big biggups. In a nutshell, go get your cholesterol checked. They give free tests at big Sainsburys. Takes 10 mins and will let you know if you need to cut out the butter or if you're doing just fine. Do it. If you don't know (your BP) get to know.

So that was the big news. The manta made it up and down with a few hiccoughs. I had all the electrics on and crawled through Friday rush hour in the mega rain and wondered why the battery failed just before I got onto the M11! The fuel pump problems might also be an electrical one as turning it off and on again (at 80mph) seemed to cure the issue. Isn't that how everyone drives?

Had a fantastic ride with SAS Joe and Andy on Friday. New rubber on the 26" and a brand new track to play on. Had a pretty spectacular crash, stood up and realised Joe had an even bigger one at precisely the same time. surprised we didn't see each other as we we're flying through the air. Shows I'm actually pushing a bit rather than just cruising as usual. I ride better with my friends.

What else this month... Went on another cruise with Corpses From Hell MG. Tea and politeness tour. We rode to winchester, skidded round a field, tried to find a bike gang and Max drove 30 miles home with no gear lever (in 4th!) Brill fun.

Can't put off the real work any longer so I'm signing off for now. Had the possibility of 10 days booked this week but they all fell through. Fingers crossed for that phone call later but least i can get on with sorting out the office. Oh yeah - if anyone wants to buy (or knows anyone who wants) and 1979 cb550k Honda then let me know. £750 with 12 months tax and 12 months MOT if it passes later today! Great bike but it's getting closer to ducati time for me. Gotta love the 90° v twin.

All the best. Glad people are generally doing OK.Things will be fine.

Big love.
