...talking of which - follow me
here
Real reason for the update is the print sales section is revamped. I have the new 1290 fired up and ready to run the press. Let me know if you would like a lovely thick piece of 308gsm paper with a pretty picture on it, posted to your door. Or anyone else's door for that matter. Prints page is HERE. Enjoy.

Catch up soon.

Long time no update. Been busy. 365
makes me not want to spend any more time in front of the computer
than I have to - but I end up sitting here anyway. Another reason
for the lack of updates is that we appear to be having a proper
summer - dry and everything. Can't believe it. So i've been
building up the callouses on my hands and riding bikes of one
description or another as often as possible.

Fera and I escaped to Paris for a short break - mega good. We had a lovely hotel near the Sorbonne Uni and a 5 minute walk from the Cathedral. We did all the tourist stuff and a load more. Al (the Paris vet) lent us her guide book with unmarked X's dotted all over the place. One we followed (on a whim) brought us to a well stocked beauty shop. Can't say I was too impressed but Fera was made up! We went to some pretty trendy bits where the jeans were tight and the shopkeeps snobby but it's Paris so c'est la vie. I still snapped this great bike in Colette - an expensive, 'one stop hipster shop'. Very cool but made you not want to spend anything! Talking of which, the Euro rate meant we were tipping the wrong side of £8 per pint which hurt but we found some good deals.
Myself, Joe and Andy M spent an amazing weekend driving to Fort William for the DH World Cup. We stayed in Glen Coe and met up with Craig & Jack from Menuires. Super craic, good times and lots of riding. The 3 of us had a blast at Glentress near Peebles. Not ridden offroad properly for about 10 years but it was like, erm, riding a bike! It all came back pretty quickly, even on the vintage mongoose. We escaped after all the racing on the Sunday and made it back there for a second session where we rode till 11:00pm. To be honest, I was flycatching all weekend. Hardly a minute when I didn't have a grin on my face - except when I was swimming in a Scottish river in my pants. Cold.

I also made it over the second of the big 3 at BH. On a borrowed bike. No pedals. YES!
We headed up to Shropshire for a wedding the other week and I learned there was an awesome pump track built by Clark & Kent about 5 mins drive from Feras house. Treats. I just checked their website and realised that there are another 2 tracks in Shrewsbury so taking my bike next time we're up - without a doubt! Loads of fun. We picked up the Manta and it made it all the way back to London with no hiccoughs. Such a cool car. Photoshoot this week. 70's boy racer amazingness.

Paddy donated me his old Dialled frame which is an inch longer than the trusty old Pashley and really confidence inspiring. Fast too! Thanks so much pal.
In other news, we're moving house. The lady downstairs is too much for us and we've had enough. We love this flat and would stay in a heartbeat but she is too spiteful; what can you do? Except have a big leaving party... Invites out soon. Thanks to everyone who's popped by and made our 1st proper home feel like a proper home. Hopefully the next place will be just as nice but with neighbourly neighbours.
Better get back to work. Catch up soon. Will hopefully try to get another update done before we move out. Maybe..
Be excellent to each other.
